xsara roof boxes bars

Post by ossian »

Earlier on last year someone posted some details of recommended suppliers of roof box's and bars. I've managed to lose the info I thought I had saved on the pc? Can't find the original topic in the archives either.
Anyone give me some recommendations ????
Thanks
Tony

Have a look at this- a bar test!!

On my BX I have an old set of Halfords bars, and for the wifes Kia we have the PreAlpina's-they were the only firm at the time who could supply the relevant fittings, and they came from a local spares shop who had the catalogue and they were in pretty quickly.

I have use www.roofbox.co.uk, very good service.
They even replaced the set of roofbox keys I lost, they arrived in the next day's post and at no charge.

Hi
Last year i was looking for some roof bars for my Xantia, and i wasn't too happy with the prices i was being quoted, i think they averaged out at 110 Euros £76 so i thought that i would check at the Citroen dealers, they were a lot cheaper Euros 75 £51.
This was in Germany´, just maybe the UK dealers are just a cheap for them,
It is worth a try.
Good luck
Tony

Ha ha, if you go to a UK citroen dealer and say you want something for a Xantia they'll look at you as if you dropped in from outer space. Then hey will have to dust off an old encyclopedia to see if it was one of theirs.
