stupid dam french cars always going wrong.
I know this is the Cit section but the pug bit always seems deserted.. besides i like it better here..
problem I got is..Peugeot 205 1.0 Carb
Won't start, new battery & alternator Im thinking thatmaybe the ignition coil or module would be worth changing? anyone agree?
I've narrowed it down to that as theres no spark at the plugs.
checked the fueling & thats OK.
Wish it was my AX... I'd fix it in a jiffy then.. flipping Peugeot & their silly cars I mean who wires in a Crank sensor to not use it???
stupid peugeot. yes i know this is the Citroen bit

I'd certainly check the connections on the module. If you got a spark - even weak - it seems the module is working, but have a weak earth or 12V connection. Same goes on the ignition coil.
That would be a very likely problem on a 13y's old car.
There is no rule that module or coil wears out. Could last a lifetime or three.
