rear height adjuster

The linkage on the rear height adjuster of my xantia has become detatched.I have reconnected it by pushing the plastic cup onto the metal lug but it keeps detatching itself.Is there some sort of spring clip missing to hold it in posistion or is the linkage just worn out and in need of replacment

More that likely worn out especially if it goes back on easey, new ones are a bugger to press on, there is a spring clip available which goes over the link at the roll bar end, but nothing for the link at the height corrector end which is a bit odd, or should that read, which is a bit Citroen <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I carry a spare or two of these.
