1993 xantia 1.9 td braking system

Post by macp »

Having recently changed the doseur unit. Yes, I hear you say "Found leaking fluid at brake pedal AND WHAT A HORRIBLE JOB TO UNDERTAKE!!!"
Upon job completion I re-bleed the braking system with the car completely off ground and the suspension set to max. I bleed the front brakes first then to the rear. I allowed the fluid to run to release hopefully any air within the system.
Since this has been undertaken, on applying the brakes they appear to be slow to react and then feel to remain on after the brake pedal is released. Am I right to suspect that air still remain in the system and that I should re-bleed system once again.

Yes typical of air in the brakes on these power hydraulic systems.
