unscrewing hydraulic pipes

need help here guys!
the hydraluic pipe (which is screwed in exactly the same as other hydraulic pipes is rally hard to get off!
Its impossible to turn and i dont want to cut through the metal pipe and replace the whole lot as i dont have the parts or the cash.
Is it one of those union nuts that you turn the opposite way to normal? HELP cos im stuck at work if i cant fix it!

There arent any left hand threads AFAIK, I use a small blowlamp to heat the nuts up, followed by a squirt of penetrating oil or WD, I also use a flare nut spanner.
