AX Dashboard lights HELP!!!

Post by jonnybongo »

Lucky me, i've just been given an AX 10E, the only problem is the dashboard lights dont work, this means in the dark I can't tell if i'm doin the speed limit (yeah right), I've checked all the fuses and they seem to be ok, what else may be causing this problem?
Please Help!![:D]

A shot in the dark (sorry) but does your model have a rheostat to turn down the intensity of the lights? If so it could be the cause of your troubles. If you are really lucky it could just be turned off!

approx mid in this schematic you have the (optional) rheostat, then follow the circuit.
Could be a jumper wire fitted instead of rheostat that has come apart.
Typical location inside cowling under steering wheel.
