Hi my gearbox currently just jumps out of 5th. 1997 1.9TD ECU engine
I'm after a TD Xantia gearbox BE3 in the north of England.
Or does anyone have a workshop manual for the BE3 box in Adobe Acrobat format or similar.
I have a BX 1.6 petrol box and was thinking that if the box's internals are similar I can put the good bits from the petrol box into the diesel one. Is it just the final drive ratios that differ or are the individual gears themselves different. I think it needs 5th gear syncromesh and the selector fork replacing.
Any help greatly appreciated or cash waiting for <i>sensible</i> offers.
