Unable to finish free to good home. (CAR NOW GONE)

Post by falling-out-with-my-car »

Here we have a GS 1300 V-reg Estate 1980 free to good home.
The engine runs very well which is a good start but she will need a bit of work
and of course will need to be trailered away. could be driven onto the trailer.
The suspension lifts as it should.
The Car is in Burton Latimer Northamptonshire very close to Junction 10 of the A14.

Unfortunately due to My Father's age and poor health over the last three years
it has been decided that he will probably never complete the car.

He does have all the panels for it and has started on some of the rust patches in the boot.
I understand it would probably need some welding underneath to.

The person that gave the car initially to my Dad said he would lend us a jig to turn the car over
like a chicken on a spit so that the welding could be done underneath but as things have turned out
this never happened.
speedo says 51081 miles currently. we do have the V5 Reg Document for it. it is currently Sorn.

there are some photos below if anyone is genuinely interested in coming to get the car
or would like a free winter project (no scrap dealers).
please PM me for contact details, Many thanks Regards Nigel.

Have you posted on the Facebook group for GS/A?

It seems to be well populated.
