Mornin' Malcolm,

I was waiting to see who would break the silence first. :P

I've just got a backlog of jobs to do.

I tried ordering around late November 2013, from Amazon.co.uk, a Imasaf 21.35.02 Exhaust Pipe on a 1 to 4 month delivery schedule. It was offered for about 30 quid (and qualified for Free SuperSaver shipping). Then on the 13th Jan, they cancelled: "Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel this item from your order as we're not currently able to offer this item for sale." Odd, when it was still on the Imasaf catalogue.

This part is better know as the Y-piece.

It seems Amazon sometimes batch upload a manufacturer's range of parts listed only by part number. I've had success getting a Bosch part on special order for my old Qualcast Suffolk Punch 35SL this way.

Anyway, the blowing Y-piece is on top of the clutch, oil seal, N/S/F wheel bearing, etc., etc. Plus the Volvo wants a head gasket doing now and the Pug still doesn't have it's rear beam put back together. Grass needs cutting too and a load of other distractions!

My last petrol receipt appears to be from 11th November.

Evenin'.

The G exhaust does look a bit complex with its Y pieces, bubble things at the front and the droopy bit at the back. People keep telling me my exhaust looks like its falling off!

nout wrong with G exhausts, the Y is quite straight forward, and the bubble creats a vortex to help drag the exhaust gas's out of the N/S rear cylinder
