GS/A hibernation

Post by scratcher »

Do all GS/A's hibernate while there is a risk of salt on the roads? I take mine for a run once a week just for fun.

No, it just seems that the owners' hibernate from the forum.

Although I haven't taken my GS out in the last couple of weeks, because I need to hunt down what is causing the battery to drain over a few days. Prime suspect is the boot light. In the meantime, my equally aged Volvo 343 is on main car duty. (I say main, rather than daily as I don't always end up driving it every day, but it is used in the main)

My two are taxed all year round, but I have to hold my hand up and admit I've not driven either of mine for a few weeks. I picked up a puncture in my GS Special and swopped it for the spare, which is unfortunately bald, so I need to sort that first and then before I know it, it'll be MOT time.
