This should be interesting...

Here's hoping I might have something more interesting than just the C5 on the road by then

Just me that has reservations about this being in France then? I've never known the French able to organise anything - except Retro-Citro - & still have memories of abandoning any hope of finding the entrance of the French 2CV National in Dunkirk & coming home, having driven further in & around Dunkirk than I had getting there.

Hmmmmmm, not convinced - unless by "hope" you mean dread & "interesting" aggravating.

I'd like to go but I really don't know if I can face the prospect.

Well there is one thing, it will be suitably large so you will not miss it this time

That's what worries me - the only French event I've successfully attended (as opposed to driven past) was quite small.

I am very much in two minds about this one - but it still a long way off.

Yep, that's a good point tbh... Might actually have to think/plan before just setting off there! which absolutely sucks tbh... I've been to car shows in mainland Europe before and it's fantastic just being able to jump in a car and drive through country after country, without a care or thought for anything.

That sounds like a really interesting/worthwhile event to attend. However, long term planning (especially regarding travel/holidays) and us do NOT go well together... We've had more luck and less aggro doing stuff last minute than if it's been carefully planned and anticipated.

Maybe we'll just set off the day before and see where the road takes us :D

I think this will be the "Big Event" for Citroen owners that really should not be missed, I just hope PSA put the money into it to make it work.

Personally, I'd rather like a Visa to go in - although that would mean taking a tent.

As I see it, if there is a problem in 2019 it will be with the validity of documents we ought to take with us. Now if only the government would stop getting bogged down with things bettter left to the likes of Jaguar-LandRover & BMW, who have a vested interest in a mutually beneficial outcome, & concentrate on, eg, passports, driving licences & V5C's (which, don't forget, are also EU documents - even if, as far as I know, we're the only country to issue them)
