Back home at last after 980 miles round trip in the purring Xantia. Really enjoyed the rally especially meeting again with a few from in here. Really grateful that some folk will put so much time and effort into running it.

Just had a Facebook memory come up from this time last year.. It was a picture I posted of three red Activas in a row at last years' Chevrons..

That time it was Alasdair's, Chris570's (N2XAN) and mine...

Had Chris been with us this rally we could have had five and that would have been lovely...

Still some way off the record when we had 10 Activas lined up at the National Rally held in a big desolate field somewhere in the badlands of the Far East... That was a rally with a very wet Saturday too...

That TZD is rather lovely. I do like a BX in that colour...

I was less than complimentary last year but, true to my word, have it another go AND - glad I did!

With a couple of notable exceptions, I didn't actually think I knew anyone there, so amazed at the number of people I got to talk to.

Had fun on Saturday, despite the rain, & I left much later on Sunday than originally intended but it all worked out OK in the end.

Had hoped to be one Citroen better off on Monday but no joy (vendor doesn't respond) so at least I won't have to worry about the logistics of getting both there next year - for the moment!
Citroens:-
'81 2CV Club
'05 C15 :!:
'97 Xantia Exclusive estate [-o<
others:-
Jeep XJ Cherokees x 3 :?
'96 Cadillac Eldorado
'99 Cadillac STS :|
& the numerous "abandoned projects" #-o
