Sorry if I didn't say bye to anyone, wife was prepping the steaks so got a shift on!
It was great to meet you, look forward to seeing how your car progresses.
Thanks again! Glad your V6 got the recognition it deserved too, very tidy!

Speaking of progress, i've got a thread on another forum I need to copy over to here, think I started it this time last year!

Well I said I'd give the CCC another chance So turned up, even though I've not renewed my membership. Quite enjoyed Saturday, mainly due to the usual suspects from another forum, must have, as I didn't realise how late it was 'til I came to leave.

Might have stayed, or even gone back on Sunday - but had to be somewhere else - in something else!

Still, 1/2-converted &, in a way, quietly looking forward to the next show/rally - whatever!

Good :D General consensus I get from here and Facebook is that it is universally enjoyed and highly praised...

This is seriously good as having been involved in organising rallies in the past I know how critical a lot of the CCC membership are...

I've just renewed my membership...

Confirmed - it was a good-un with (I understand) over 250 cars.

Highlight for me was sitting in the back of an Activa - it don't just go well [-X , there's also no need to slow down for corners :-D , Thank Alasdair =D> =D> =D>

If you see a plain blue 51 plate c5 lx estate rock up, that's me... come say hi - I don't bite! :D
Was that you talking to Ben about centreless wheels and looked at those on my silver C5?
Yep, that was me :D

I enjoyed the short time I had there, but was appalled at the lack of CXs - what the hell happened there?! I know I have a lot of them stored away, but, not THAT many that I've caused that, single handedley!

It was great to meet some of you off here and I can't thank enough Davey for the chance to drive his activa - so I now know how mine should drive, when I get it all finished (and I know what to aim for performance wise, with tuning ;) )
