Does that date coincide with the Fine Food Fayre?

Thanks Jim. The food Faye is usually held at the beginning of April. After speaking to a number of people on the Sunday, the consensus of opinion was favoured towards the end of April and the slightly warmer weather. I can bring a selection of pork pies and scotch eggs if you like. :-D

And if the scotch eggs could be made with some Scottish mist they would be most welcome (even if that means parking up overnight!).
