There were only three BXs there last year Jim!

Bizarre last year that we said we was taking the 5,800 Miles BX GT there that quite a few people wanted to see but then hardly any BXers turned up?!! :?
Gosh  Was that a year ago Franklin? Time flies...

Have you still got that BX?

I'm not sure quite sure where the time has gone Jim! :o

Here's the pics from last year - http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... 23#p321423" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - feels like yesterday!

My favourite of last year! :-D

Unfortunately not Jim. I don't even think it was advertised, just an enquiry and he had to have it. What a car that was.

We'll be at Little Horwood, but not in June as it clashes with 2CVGB Registers' Day.

I won't be able to make it this year. I will however be going to the GS/A Ami rally in Farnham, Surrey the weekend before :D

Yep that's the one Paul.

There was some more info in the latest Citroenian I believe - I think it's been further details have been posted somewhere, hang on a mo...

Here it is...

This year the Annual D rally is again being held at the Little Horwood Recreation Ground (MK17 0PF is the nearest postcode, the driveway is cunningly hidden between the church and Shoulder of Mutton pub). It will be on the 28th to the 30th of June - and must be a popular date choice, given so many other events, unfortunately, clash with it.

As has happened with other events, we had to increase the prices slightly this year. However, we have still managed to procure a selection of interesting items for a goody bag. Another CCC member bonus will be available ONLY on presentation of your CCC membership card at the gate. If you have your card to show, you will get a discount off the entry price.

Costs:
Weekend (including camping) £25 - reduced to £20 on presentation of membership card.
Weekend (no camping) £20 – reduced to £15 on presentation of membership card.
Day pass £10 – reduced to £8 on presentation of your card

Please remember that the discount will only happen if you show your card…

As has happened previously there will be weekend camping available from Friday to Monday morning. A special note to those planning to arrive early: Please try and make your arrival after 3.30 on Friday afternoon, this is due to local groups using the site. Also, the site must be cleared by 10am on Monday.
Food will be available on-site with breakfasts provided on Saturday and Sunday, by our fabulous team of volunteers. Free tea and coffee available all weekend, we'll also have a bar open throughout the weekend. Other meals are outlined below.

Friday night is Quiz night - with Fish and Chips provided by the local van at about 6pm

Saturday is a busy day, along with the cars to view, there will be a convoy to the Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne around mid-day, (Picnic lunches will be available to avoid food chaos at the lunch stop). In the evening we have a curry night, with the option of the fish and chip van for those who wish. Entertainment on Saturday Night is a live folk group "The Diddley D's", who've teamed up especially for us.

Sunday another busy day, of course there will be still more D's to see and discuss. In the morning there will be the D Section AGM. A Ploughmans Lunch available around noon, followed by prize-giving and the raffle in the afternoon. During the day concours judging will take place.

Throughout the weekend there will be specialists will be on hand with technical advice and if we're lucky there may even be demonstrations. New and used parts will be available from traders, and members are able to "car-boot" D parts.

If you are a trader who wishes to sell please let us know, so that space can be allocated.

If you're interested in joining the committee or volunteering your services, please let us know as help is always welcomed.

I'm going to try and get along for this, might bring the C15 for an outing maybe.

Sounds like a good event, as always!

I was hoping to make Registers' Day as well this year, but will be a little busy at the D Rally. We've managed to clash with Silverstone and Glastonbury this year too.

If anyone wants more information, the D Section Facebook page has all the details too.

Hope to see you there!

Me too Vince :-D Remember it clashes with Glastonbury so it will be wet and soggy; wellies advised

It also clashes with some motor racing going on just up the road at Silverstone so be prepared for some heavier than normal traffic on the M1, A43 and in the area generally..

See you all there!
