It was nice to meet some of you at the CCC rally last weekend, and I've since started reading this forum after a few years away from it.
I hope to get to the rally with my Xantia V6 and will definitely go on the trip to the railway, interesting reading about the bubble DMU.

'Twould be a great thing to fit faces to names. We try to do that on our vintage radio events (I have a name badge which I usually forget to bring (!))

We'll either be in the Dyane as per my avatar or a blue GSA Pallas, living in our 1968 Chateaumobile folding camper.

See you all then.

It's fantastic to know we can camp for a long weekend without having to take all the cooking gear, thanks to Jim's organisation. All we need is our trusty Kelly Kettle as there are plenty of dead branches around!

Don't forget folks we'd like to get an idea of numbers for the convoy drive to the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway on the Saturday...

Details are currently being finalised however it looks to be very good indeed including a train ride and lunch on one of their dining cars...

Original details here...

We're also told that beer is available...

Costs TBC in the near future, although probably around the £10 per person area for the train ride and lunch.

Please let either Jim (CitroJim) or myself know so we can gauge numbers...!

Alternatively, why not copy and paste the following list into your post and add yourself...

May as well add if you'd like a Buffet Meal on the Saturday Evening too to help us gauge numbers...

Thanks! :-D

Ok thanks for the feedback Jon. I'll contact the Shoulder of Mutton Pub to see what we can sort out for this year.

In the corner?! I think you mean outside... [-X

Only joking, all Citroens are more than welcome to this show be it old or new. In fact, seems that there'll be a fair few DS3s there too as they're combining in with the TRAX show at Silverstone which is on the Sunday.

Very few, if any, of the "Oh it's not a proper Citroen as it's got springs" brigade attend this show...

Personally, if its got chevrons on it, then it's a proper Citroen.

Yes it's the same as the D Rally location - postcode is MK17 0PF, and is the cricket field behind the Pub.

I must contradict you there Jon. I thought, considering the number of people that showed up for the meal that weren't actually pre-booked, they ( the Shoulder of Mutton ) coped remarkably well.
