the only reason i said what i did above Richard is that fitting the cleaned injectors made it run like a peach for anout 5 minutes, its a good point you make for sure, maybe the injector thing was just a red herring..............

Not a problem Dean, that first 5 minutes of running like a peach may have been prior to the Lambda warming up whereupon it started to give duff info to the ECU.

I managed to buy a new one for £30 delivered, so will give it a whirl, i will check the wiring though guys thanks.

When i fitted the last new one it ran well for a short time.

does it not have a heated tip to get working straight away (ish)? mind you Tim didnt say exactly how long it ran well for.

When i fitted the last new one it ran well for a short time.


Was that before Richard sorted the rail pressure and timing though?

Most Lambda probes are heated and even with those they still take a few minutes to get going.

Just looking at some pictures, how on earth did i not see Marks ZX 16v??? such a tidy car i cant believe i missed it...........

Regrettably it did for me and I suffered a bad relapse. Just beginning to slowly recover now...

:lol: There was also a fantastic looking ZX Volcane there that I loved - just a shame that ZX numbers are so low that they don't warrant a trophy of their own...yet... :wink:
