red_dwarfers wrote:Jacksun, it doesn't really matter what car you turn up in at any of the rallies, it's the appreciation of the cars and people thats important. It's quite easy to just start talking to people at these do's, most of the usual awkwardness of randomly talking to strangers is taken away as firstly a chunk of us you already know. Secondly, the immediate common interest of Citroëns makes for an easy ice breaker!
You'd enjoy the CXM rally
Kev's right, I remember going to my first rally, It was the Northern a couple of years ago and I knew nobody, I actually met up with Vince at a services before going, ah those were the days..... begining to sound like Jim now  I have been to CXM a couple of times and throughly enjoyed and I drive a lowly C6, while not frown upon, we are asked to park at the back  (Just joking....before you all start shouting at me).

I now hate missing rallies, they are really good fun, and the odd bit of 'tinkering' may go on as well, plus its usually a good place to find bits, as somebody will always say " I'm sure there's one of those in the shed" :-k

As mentioned a few pages back...
Cooked Buffet Breakfasts are available on Saturday and Sunday Mornings (from 8am to 10am) at the Shoulder of Mutton Pub next to the Rally Site (£4 per head).
For Saturday Evening we have organised a meal to be held at the Shoulder of Mutton Pub. (Menu on other page). The cost for the meal is £15 per head and will be at 7:30pm on Saturday Evening.
...could we have a rough indication of numbers (to help planning again!) of people wishing to have the Breakfasts? Quite a few have already said yes for the Evening Meal which is great, thanks.

No problems if you don't know yet, just to give us a rough indication of numbers... PM or a post below is fine - whichever...

Will there be access to a Lexia/diagnostic machine there I wonder? And someone who knows how to use it!

(I have a Synergie with a Peugeot badge (honest!) and although it's pretty sorted now, the ABS light stays on more often than not (being an early top-of-the-range SVDT it has ABS, whereas it wasn't generally fitted to other 806s of that era) and it'll need fixing before its MOT in January next year. It would help to know a bit more, like which sensor is acting up, if possible.
