Well I've got back home about an hour ago (got a lift back with Matt in his Scooby!) - today was fine weather-wise, but not too much in the way of people or stuff to do!

I went down with Dom in my Visa 14TRS (started perfectly after not touched for 5 months!) at about 3:30 and arrived seeing Tim and friend trying to put up his tent! 3 hours later it was done...!

After Tim put the model sections signs up I moved the cars and demonstrated what my Visa Special could do! Tim wanted a lift down to pick some more signs up from the other side of the field and he got to hear what a 652cc Visa sounds like with a big induction kit and Skyline Exhaust!

I think I saw Chris pull in in his Activa and had a look at some cars but before I knew it he was gone - on the way back home though, I saw him coming the opposite way while in the Scooby.

Not too many cars there ATM but there will obviously be more coming tomorrow:

Well I'm also ready to go and looking forward to my first Citroen show!
:)
I hope the weather does hold out for us.
The pictures look great and expect a lot of people will turn up.

Look forward to chatting in person as not done much on here as yet
Regards
Tim

Last minute decision is currently being made to come down there this evening.
If I do, then I'll have to come on my van to tow the Puck down.

Is the camping adjacent to the Showground, and how late can I arrive, does anyone know?
How am I going to know who's who btw?

I may use the opportunity to put an ad. in the van window for a certain ZX even p'raps? :P

...it's still VERY wet here. :(

...camping is on the showground - just follow the signs and you'll see! :D Late as you want....

Anyway, got up nice and earlyish this morning and plan was to meet Matt up there with the two CXs that he's taking (Roger's Prestige and the C-Matic). We had to go via Chatteris and in the end circled back around to the barn as the rain was so bad. In the end dad and I polished the MK2 Jag and after about an hour, it was raining even harder! :( We called into the show and everyone was huddled in the marquee and there were some cars on display - here's a couple of pics that I managed to get out of the window:

Views from the road:

Xantia's - 4 Activa's so far...

XM's -

That's all I could snap as it was so wet but there was also about 3 BXs, a H Van, 2 DS's, Ami, 2 Visa's, GSA, 3 CXs, C4.

All we did while we was there was drive round a couple of times and I moved the Visa 14TRS so it was on display as it was used as a windbreak for Dom's tent!

I sincerely hope the weather improves but when it clears we'll go back down there... [-o< [-o<

Crikey if the rain keeps on as its been falling down here you might need a tractor to pull cars off the field :(

...luckily the ground is VERY good there and there's lots of drainage systems in place. Driving around in the C6 and it was fine.

Strange lots of the 'main' shows have been a washout - GS, DS, National...

Still raining here at home and not showing any signs of stopping - I feel sorry for the chaps that have travelled all the way here and camped. :x

The weather forcaster peoples reckon it's going to be betterer down there tomorrow as the arc of low pressure swings around upwards and starts to decend on the N.W. up here once again.

Remind me. Which actual month is this again? :x

Been quite bright up here this morning after the initial deluge, but now it's just started hammering it down yet again.

I don't quite know what to do now tbh. Is it worth the 150 mile drive to see just half a dozen beauties in a muddy field.....and a few cars too?

Unfortunately no pickled eggs this year Steve! :(

Well the weather has brightened up a bit, although the clouds are very dark and I wouldn't be surprised if more rain was on the horizon.

Hopefully though, the rain will hold off for tomorrow - I expect that if everyone saw the forecast for today/it was raining where they were today, they would wait for tomorrow.

How many actual cars are on display now?
Is it just FCF members there or COC too?
