International Citroën Car Clubs Rally 2012
The ICCCR will be held in Yorkshire (Harrogate) on 9-12 Aug 2012 (Thu-Sun).
The cost if you book before the end of 2010 is reduced by 50% to £50 per car (inc driver) and £10 per passenger.
This provides:
1 x "Welcome Pack" per car (including special discounts to local theme parks and other attractions)
Entry to Rally Site for Vehicle, Driver and all booked passengers for 5 days (Wednesday mid day to Monday mid day)
On-site Camping for booked persons and vehicles same for up to 5 Nights
Full Facilities on site (Toilets, showers, etc.,)
Entry to all 2012 ICCCR stands and events on site.
This is going to be a huge event well worth going to.
Having just come back from a week's holiday in nearby Whitby, I can tell you the food up there is cheap and plentiful, and there are loads of sights worth seeing.
If camping isn't your thing, then there are plenty of holiday homes to rent, so groups can chip in and share the reasonable costs or make a family outing of it.
More details are available on the ICCCR website

Danielle and I went to Goathland on the 50's coach, I highly recommend it, especially the pork pie and pickle from the cafe

I think the fuel bill there and back in the Activa would bankrupt me!myglaren wrote:Activa country
£45 for the round trip in Cassy compared with £145 for the same in Juliet!

Yes, Goathland is a very nice place for a run out, i often take the dogs out over that way. Grosmont is also well worth a Visit. A quick trip to Whitby for fish and chips ends the day nicely.
Im pleased the ICCR is where it is, nice and close for a change.

Danielle's just informed me that during the summer there's the North Yorkshire Moors Railway real ale train (with bar and music) on Fridays that goes from Pickering to Middlesborough (via Glaisdale).
If anyone has never been to Yorkshire, here's a useful video to prepare yourself:

A trip to Middlesbrough, i could think of better places to go on a day trip to
Who knows what ill be in, my C5 will be in a scrapyard by then the way its going, not before ive jumped up and down on it Saying that, if i do hapen to still have it in two years, at the rate it goes through new parts ill have totally rebuilt it by then So hopefully something better, maybe my own Xm or even a Xantia ... two years is a long time though!
