BONJOUR

Post by JBlack85 »

Good Morning all, from Sunny Hartlepool.

I'm a new owner of two frenchies,

2009 Citroen C5 X7 Exclusive 2.0 hdi
&
2009 Renault Grand Espace Dynamique 2.0 hdi

Recently purchased due to a new addition to the family (baby Jacob). Bit of a change from a BMW 730d Sport and a Citroen C3 Pluriel. However it's all good so far.

Two weeks into ownership I had to have the steering rack replaced on the C5. And the Grand Espace is due to go in next week due to loud bumps and not a particularly nice ride when driving over lumps in the road.

But apart from that I'm a happy Customer.

Plans between now and Summer include adding a Nexus Tablet to the C5 to allow for Bluetooth, Sat Nav, whilst retaining the centralised function of the RD3
And some form of audio change for the Espace, as we have around 3000 miles to cover this summer when we drive to Barcelona.

Looking forward to getting stuck in!

Regards

James

Hi and welcome.

You’ll find plenty of info here I’m sure.
Post any technical car queries on the Citroen Forum and any audio queries in the telematics section. Your basic audio system in the X7 will be an RD4, but if you’re not sure what you have post up or PM your VIN.

The steering rack issue is well known and one expense that doesn’t need to be repeated one hopes! Don’t forget to add it to the C5 X7 poll when you get a chance.

Welcome.

And yes, straight into one of the joys of X7 ownership there by the looks!
