Hello and Hi from new member here in Aberdeen. I've got a 2010 C5 estate and love it. It's the 2.0HDi 163 Bhp model
I've had it three years now and must say I'm really impressed with it so far, cheap to run, plenty of power and ideal for towing my Lunar twin axle caravan. Apart from a set of tyres and new brake pads it's not given me any bother until now! Co-incidence or what my wife and I have been away for 14 weeks in the far east/Australia and come back to two problems.
1. Heater motor has a mind of it's own, running constantly and going fast and slow. Suspect heater motor resistor, new one on order for delivery tomorrow.
2. Drivers window cable has broken, new one here for fitting tomorrow!
I do all my own repairs/maintenance and have been having fun preparing the car for the new heater resistor and pollen filter replacement, NOT a two minute job due to the glovebox needing removed!
I'll post up how i get on along with some pics when I complete the job.
