Hi everyone,

Seems as i am posting in the introductions section, youve guessed it, im a newbie.

I recently bought a beautiful Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, i believe it is a 2.0 HDI VTR+ EGS, i think

This is my first french car, i had been looking for one for quite sometime before i finally bought this one (Shes called The Glerp, named after a childrens book that i was once obsessed with)

She has a bit of an issue right now. She wont reverse, she wont move in auto and is just being noisy and she will not move in manual unless i skip 1st gear.

Hopefully i can fix her soon, as i cannot wait to drive her

Welcome to the Forum. Sorry to see that The Glerp is unwell, but don't worry, there are members on the forum who have Lexia clones (the Lexia clone is the only reasonably priced reader that will work on PSA cars), and are willing to help out other people with issues. Here is the link;

There are experts on the forum who will have a good idea as to what the problem is (I am not one, as I have no experience of automatic gearboxes). and they will have suggestions. I would say don't throw any money at The Glerp until you either have a clear explanation of the most likely fault, or until she has had a Lexia look at her, otherwise you may just be chasing windmills.
