Hi all.
Stumbled across this site whilst searching for a French car specialist in Hertfordshire. Looks like an interesting site
We have a Citroen DS3 e-HDi 110 Dsport Plus at the moment, which we have a problem with, hence the search but we are also getting a new Peugeot 2008 in a few weeks time so no doubt I will be trawling the boards again at some point. Anyway, just dropped in to say hello! On with the DS3 problem!

That's easy, BL Autos in Selwyn Garden City, both Robert and Barry have a wealth of knowledge, and will quite happily worry on anything........

Thanks for the welcome and the advice about BL Autos. They seem to have a very good rep. Hope they can help us out as time is running short!

Everyone has a first car most of them not even French, but that doesn't stop the FCF having a good conversation about them
Have a browse through this thread

Actually my first car was a Simca 1100
which was French built by Chrysler Europe..i think. Not exactly stylish but it was reliable and did the job

Hi and welcome. I did start off with a simca, but the bigger 1301 special. A bigger car with rear wheel drive that I inheratated from an uncle and had a boot floor made from hardboard and the 1980 equivalent of duck tape! It was P reg so that was a 1975/6 car and rotten as a pear then at 5 years old. If I remember correctly the simca 1100 was a front drive 5 door hatch, the fore runner of the Talbot Horizon.

That's right Davie. Simca 1100 was front wheel drive, 5 door hatch. It was a great little car and in really good condition. Metallic blue and I think I paid £100 for it.
