Looking for a 2.0 HDI

Hello everyone
I'm Steve from NE UK. This looks like a great place to get info. A little background... I've driven 306 2.0 HDi Pugs for 10 years, love 'em to bits, and my latest one has died - £600 for MOT
. I'm looking for something similar for less than £1000 ... don't really know where to start looking .. there's a lot of rubbish around. Can anyone help me get started looking?
