new member just registered....have been driving old bx's now for years and can't believe i've only just found this forum...........am active on a forum for 30 year old bikes and know how useful they can be......currently driving a 1992 19txd .......had to sell my favourite old 19tgd last year as i didn't have the space and it needed a little bit of welding for an mot where the floor had been damaged and rusted.......much too good to break.....the buyer said he would put it back on the road....hope he did......
up to now had a local french car specialist servicing and repairing my cars, but he moved out of the area and although i made an effort to let him continue, i suspect his inadequate location, facilities and new staff haven't done my servicing /repairs to a good standard so I'll be back to doing bits myself.......
have a peugeot 205 diesel that i have to part with as well to make room for a new clio.......

i like the 205 ....never let us down, engine and gearbox faultless..... but just recently have been plagued with suspension and drive problems......recent top swivels, new lower wish bones because of dreadfully worn out anti roll bar bushes which has, i think knocked out either a wheel bearing or drive shaft.....knocking under power........the tyres are getting a bit worn and tracking is out on one side that's worn one edge of the tyre........plus it's been broken into/attempted theft three times this year......it now has an odd coloured door (the only one i could get) had to replace steering wheel as well......and where the little s**t had their feet on the dash to try and break the steering lock, there is a long crack going around the instrument pod........getting fed up playing with it, at risk of further theft attempts.......and the wife wants a change.....
yes, i forgot i am a member of the bx forum........no one was interested in my old bx though.......

you have certainly had your fair share of probs with it then,

i will just say though just one tyre wearing is not a tracking issue, as tracking out will wear both tyres exactly the same,

toe out will wear both inside edges, and toe in will wear both outside edges,

if just one tyre is wearing it is due to a suspension bush, swivel joint or something is bent,

also i dont belive any of the faults you mention will cause a wheel bearing to fail,
i wouls say its just another thing that has worn out in the natural line of duty,

hope which every way you go gives you some trouble free motoring,

looking at you signature are you in Thanet
