Hi all,
Quick message to say I'm back in Xantia ownership again, couldnt stay away from a xantia for long, well 9 months this time, longest ever!
Very happy to say I'm now the proud owner of a '99 HDi exclusive, in red with black leather, in very good condition, perfect engine & gearbox, with a couple of sphere changes and diode mod done this week now a perfect ride too.

I think the car used to belong to someone here, the guy i bought it from said when he purchased the car a year ago it came with FCF stickers on it.

Reg no is S576 NKV if anyone recognises your old cars in good hands now

Registered 21st Jan 1999, wouldnt that make it one of the first HDi equipped xantias to appear?

Also as an aside anyone know what happened to the green goblin after I sold her?

My present HDi was registered on the 17th December 1998.

Good choice of Xantia

The Green Goblin is going strong and looking good as of the X rally earlier in the year. I saw her there with her new owner who is both delighted with her and caring for her very well. I took a picture and it appeared in the Citroenian a while back

Yup, welcome back to HDi ownership!

The HDi originally appeared in 1998 in 110bhp FORM first to replace the 2.1 12v TD XUD engine. Useually S plates, Ive not seen an R reg HDi yet. Then later on in late 1999, V plate the XUD 1.9 was replaced with the HDi 90 engine. So, ALL S and T reg HDi's are useually 110 HDI units, then from V reg onwards it was a choice of 90 or 110..

Except all Exclusives which were fitted with 110 engines so Ive seen so far!
