Newly registered of South Wales

Hello to all on this Citroën forum, have just registered & signed in...
Looks like there's a lot of interesting stuff out there & will need to get used to finding my way around.
Have been a Citroën addict since 1970's and have owned 2CV, GS/A, DS, CX, BX, Lomax 223 Kit, Xantia, & most recent purchase of Berlingo (times are hard!)
For any Xantia devotees out there I may have something of interest (nothing earth shattering) but will wait until I am familiar with this site before publishing.
Cheers, AW.

Thank you superloopy (AKA Mike?), all good things come to those that wait, some bad things too in my experience if you wait long enough..... Any members out there in the South Wales area with ageing Xantia's? This may be a clue...

Thanks for your kind & humourous welcomes above, I have 1998 Xantia 1.9TD estate that I need to rehome/pass on/retire...a spares or repair job & I would like her to go to an enthusiast who would be able to make use of her.
Will try to put a post in the right place on this forum, but if anyone wants to send me a private message to obtain details I will give you my contacts. Although I would appreciate some sort of offer for this car, I may be forced to let her go for free; the other alternative is the scrapyard and that doesn't make me feel too good!
I no longer have the means to keep her afloat.
Au revoir... :(

Well, I'm in your neck of the woods and really rate Xantiae very highly
so would be very interested in finding out more about your estate especially
as too many have been scrapped/weighed in lately. When you say it needs
more doing to it now than you want to cope with is there much serious
spannering required then??

Worse that that superloopy! Have tried to send private message to andmcit but have failed. Give me some time, will put details in for sale section. Bad bearings, clutch release area on low mileage clutch....that should keep you happy for a while!?
