Hello Ive just joined the forum with now owning a Peugeot 306 hdi.

Im Pete and from north Wales near Wrexham.

Also I like the older cars you can fix them and mess around with them. Ive been repairing my new car done alot of work to it my self also with afew friends helping out to.

Ive also owned in the past 2 Citroen ax gt.

North Wales, lovely place. Roll on retirement so I can come there too although I plan on going a little bit south of you...

Welcome to the FCF :)

One of my favourite roads is to the west of Wrexham. It's a fairly tight single track road on a moorland and comes out on to the Horseshoe pass, I've no idea what the proper name of the moor is though I'd like to know!

Here's a photo of the XM blasting through a ford on that road:

You know, that's one of the fascinating things about the XM, the moment it spies a bit of water the letters on the numberplate hide away somewhere a bit warmer :lol:

Loving that photo Chris. You can just tell that the person taking that photo must really know his stuff about taking photos. Look how he's managed to get the whole car in the frame and create the illusion of speed through a slight blur :D

It was foggy when I took the XM there too. Not quite as foggy as when we went though!

That looks a nice road to drive through not sure if Ive driven through there before.
