:wave2: Welcome ozm :wave2:

The C5 is a bit of a newcomer here but the amount of threads and info increases daily, there should be something to keep you amused.

Welcome ozm :D Always a treat to welcome another antipodean to the forum!

Did the new wife come with the new C5 or are the two events completely unrelated?

Do you still have the DS23?

HELP. HELP. HELP

Post by ozm »

Hi everyone.
Happy New Year.
I need a workshop manual URGENTLY for my C5 V6.
It had a profuse oil leak which has now stopped. Must have run out of oil.
Don't know how long it will run without oil in whatever b4 it explodes.
Surely sombody knows a dealer who can sell me the info cos I am in a different country. Must be written in English of course.
Cheers

I don't think that anyone here has found a service manual for a C5 V6, but there is quite a bit of knowledge spread around.

You need to give a bit more information...
Exactly which model and year of C5 is it?

Where was the oil leaking from?

Are there any warning lights on?

Hi.
It is a 2003 V6.
I dont know where the oil was leaking from. Thats why I need a manual so I can pull the bits apart and find out what is the prob.
I suspect the air cond.
There are also some electrical probs. nothing urgent at the moment though.
I was hoping to get a citroen dealer manual from somewhere overseas cos the locals guard it jealously needless to say.
Cheers.

I hope you have checked the dipstick and ensured that there is oil in it?

If there is then it will be gearbox oil, unless its actually suspension fluid or brake fluid ....

Your best to have a good look around under the car and see if you can identify where its coming from.
