Kermit the frog say's Hello

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Kermit the frog say's Hello

Post by kermit the frog »

Hi All :)
I am a member of the BX club Forum and have posted many times on many thing's.
I am a semi retired auto technician with many years of working on French cars mostly Renault from 1974 to 1994.
Following this i worked in the simulation industry as an hydraulics technician, This took me all over the world.
I then moved on to work in the British touring car championship.
I worked for West Surrey Racing where i got to work with many racing drivers. The late Will Hoy, Craig Baird, Nigel Mansell, James Thompson,
Peter Kox,Tom Kristensen, Anthony Reid, Warren Hughes and Colin Turkington.
I also did some work for the Japnese company ASL on their two seater sports car and some show car work for the Toyota Corperation.
I have for the last few years been doing very little because of a severe accident to my right hand and the development of Ostioarthritis in my spine.
I did take part in the Bxagon last year as part of the Philibusters Team With Phil Chidlow.
Which raised money for Cancer Research UK.
This was done in memory of Alan S a great loss to the French car and BX forums.
I hope i have not bored you all.
Regards Kermit
Ex auto technician
Suffering from a pain in the back from too many years working in the cold on cars.
