Just when you thought it was safe!

Hi folks

I've just joined - I was a member in the distant past, but could not see myself in the list.

A lot of names I remember, and some I've even met. Hi Bernie Lugg

Current fleet is a 1981 Dyane (my wife's) and a 2001 Xsara HDi.

I'm ashamed to say that it's a question regarding this that prompted me to join, but I'll look at the archive before posting a thread in the appropriate place.

Welcome back Mike.
If you can remember your old username we should be able to restore it for you.

Thanks, Steve.

The original user name I thought was either as it is now, or maybe UHN 113X or AWU 449K with or without a space, but cannot find either when I looked in the members list.

Not a problem, really, though, so don't spend too much time trying to sort it.

At least I can remember the new one as it's on my driving licence!

Oh! I couldn't find it. D'oh.

Yes please, and is it possible to leave the password as it is now and move this thread to uhn113x?

Thanks a lot.

Have you logged in to that account Mike? I can't merge this thread unfortunately and can't see your password, only change it and email the new one to you.
You could repost the threads in your previous account though.

Hi Steve
Here I am in my new-old guise. I did remember the password, so nothing needs to be done now.

Thanks

PS: Cannot change uhn's email address as Mike P still exists as a member - can you apply the humane killer, please?

Just to confirm - you want Mike P removing completely from the database - this is not reversible! Although the posts will remain , attributed to "Guest"

Yes please, Steve, as the only remaining posts from this dodgy character are in this thread, which I can edit as necessary.

All done finished :)
Except you won't be able to edit your alter-ego's posts now.

Thanks, Steve. Only problem is that if I try to change my email address in my new profile, it won't let me and says it does not match my user name!

For reference, it's only the first part that has changed and is now mike@...

Sorry about becoming a PITA and thanks.
