I tried to buy this car complete last Wednesday.

The seller wouldn't sell me it for a penny less then £500. I said I was prepared to offer £300 cash the next day which I thought was fair for a non MOT'd Activa but she declined it straight away...

I told her about the guy giving bits away but she reckons the engine and Activa rams will fetch her £500.

Yes, quite an odd idea some people have that any money spent on it by means of servicing, replacing tyres, brakes, clutch etc, automatically gets added onto the cars value :? Might possibly make it more desirable but it will have no effect on the value.

Doesn't look very promising really for Activa prices at £170 with not long left - seems very cheap for 70,000 miles!

Someone has to save this car - it's even got the rare, proper Activa leather in it too! 8-)

yep wonderfull seats.

Activa prices will be on the deck, being gutless for its fuel usage, the fact everyone is too scared to buy one for fear of hydraulic issues or dont buy them because they have no clue what the activa is may be part of it but the real issue is that those that do want one are too damn tight to pay proper money for them, unfortunatly peugeot owners are not so tight and Activa numbers continue to fall.

The Activa will go the way of all old bangers, it will be worth nothing at all untill almost every last one is scrap....................and then prices will rise.

The trouble is very few people want one so there has to be far less cars than there are nuutters to buy them before prices will increase, in the mean time i intend to stockpile some spares

Looks reasonable and the seats are rare.

Adjustable wings on the seats ... both side bolters can be adjusted inwards or outwards depending on your body frame so that the seats really hug you in the bends, they are excellent. Mine are adjusted right the way in!

I would love Activa prices to rise for the simple fact that more will be saved. Worthless or extremely valuable, I love them, what a car! 8-)

I urge everyone who wants one to go out and get one while there still are a few. It will only cost you a few pennies to buy

Would love another Activa myself but due to lack of storage I'm afraid it's a no no , the only way would be to sell the 16v Zx which is not an option , the Activa has gone the same way as the 16v Bx .
