Activa Spotting - Post all eBay and etc. Finds here

I think the seller isn't exactly a pro at describing cars; possibly a good
thing as this suggests he doesn't 'do' that kind of thing regularly!
The 1.9 in the title suggests the seller is a bit ignorant of his own car!!
Refurbed alloys and CD multichanger a bonus but an otherwise sparce
description I'll grant you. Usually, the one key fact ommitted (either
accidentally or on purpose!!) is the mileage - about the only thing he
does list although it's an AC no sunroof car...
Give him a ring or email asking for pics as he clearly has some available!!

Colin
Just had a look at item description and the listing has been revised something tells me its not quite right click on the "revised" bit of the listing

I think he's making a real fist of listing the car properly. If it's not an Activa
why is the revised copy showing he's changed it from a Citroen!!
Sometimes ebay has a weird way of displaying a new listing - he may even
be there now trying to make some sense of it all...
I've looked for a second listing and drawn a blank - where did you see that?

I agree there's a fair few anomalies such as the location and the picture.
I've dealt with ebayers before where they'd moved and not bothered
changing the archived details on ebay - at least he gives an idea where the
car actually is!
The picture looked genuine - not one I've seen on another auction/web site etc!

I have a contact for an Activa for sale.
It is a 1996 Mk1 model in the right colour, Dante Red. I have not seen the car but it is cheap, even just for spare parts. The owner assures me he has spent money on the car, including windscreen, brakes, battery, tyres, etc. It does run and is drivable. He has all the documents.
However, there are always issues! The car needs a bonnet and an MOT, but the car is taxed until February 2009. The car failed its last MOT due to a fluid leak, which I assume is an LHM issue, owner seemed vague on this.
The car is located near Bakewell, Derbyshire, just too far for me to collect, b****r.
PM me or call 07941 116798. Not around until the weekend so please call then.

Hello Andrew, you guessed right! However, I have photos of the car and I cannot see any damage to the roof and yes, it does have a sunroof.
As I stated, the car could be a good donor for parts and the owner is insistent that the car goes to somebody that will either get it up and running or use the car as a source of spares. It is cheap enough for either.
You interested? Go on, you know you want it!

I like Xantiae which have sunroofs!!
Yes, I'd be well up for rescuing it as a going concern! Is the leak the rear
ram by any chance? Guess my immobile blue one could become a spares
donor...
I'd be very interested in having any additional info you have.
Please pm me or mail me at andmcit at tiscali co uk
