Looking increasingly unlikely at this point that I'll be able to attend at this point.

Have to take someone to visit a friend tomorrow which will be the best part of six hours driving for the sake of about an hour there.

While I had hoped for Saturday to be free so I could pop down to London in the afternoon to meet up with a regular gathering of friends for a couple of hours and de-stress, have found that won't be happening. Instead it's an early start and birthday celebrations for a family friend, occupying basically the entire day and most likely being sociable well into the evening.

Given how stressful I tend to find these social events and how much trouble I've been having with sleep and the associated exhaustion over the last week, unless tomorrow and Saturday go a lot easier than expected, I'd really be pushing my luck trying for a 4:30 start on Sunday. Being totally honest, given that this is a morning event and my sleep issues, I'd be tempted to plan a bit further ahead and drive over the day before and stop at a hotel nearby overnight so I can actually be awake enough to enjoy the event.

Really wanting to blitz the EFi conversion this coming week, and the last thing I want to do is over stretch myself and wind up spending half of next week totally out of it.

Not saying no for certain yet, will see how things go and I'm prepared to be surprised in a nice way, will see how things go.

Gutted to be missing the meet on Saturday as well...Was middle of summer last year last time I managed to get to one...And they happen every three weeks...So that's how hectic things have been lately!

Better to do what you feel comfortable with Zel or the pleasure soon evaporates.

I also want to go to the Haynes but it would just over stretch me, there's always next time or the one after.

I still need to get a trip to MK in as well, I haven't seen Jim for too long plus I really want to meet you, Tesla and the fleet.

Well I can safely say that I won't be making it tomorrow.

Weekend so far hasn't been as bad as it could have, but I've only just got done with today...If I was wanting to be ready for a 4AM start I'd have wanted to be in bed by about four hours ago. Plus the car is still filthy...

Instead I'll be taking things easy tomorrow in the hope I don't wreck myself for the rest of the week.

Definitely do need to get you over here sometime James. Always nice to meet a new face and to subject unwitting victims to my endless rambling!

I'm passing picking up my new Vsx shortly Zel.
I think you need a longer visit though so lets plan something for soon.
Once Kelvs is recovered, which should be 10 days and the coolant leak is fixed I'd really like to get out and socialise.
We'll be meeting in the not too distant future.

Everyone going to Haynes in the morning have a great day, I'm almost jealous.

Happy Birthday too Zel.

Oh, I love being submitted to endless ramblings and poking about with old motors! Where do I sign up? :D
