I really, really enjoyed it and discovered just how fast I am against the other participants, of which there were many, and how well I climb hills :D All the training and getting myself to my racing weight (58.5Kg) has been well worth it...

I just wish I'd done the 65 mile route now... Next time...

Finally, a massive and heartfelt thanks to all who sponsored me :D It is very much appreciated and if anyone still want's to there's still plenty of time ;)

Going to rest for a few minutes now :)

A small postscript: The results are out and I came in 9th out of a field of 76 :D

I'm absolutely delighted... Thing was, I was not even trying to get a good time...
