a bit off topic. wifi and BT

Post by jgra1 »

chaps..where I live right now, I have wifi access from a router somewhere.BT broadband. I think the landlord has 2 routers and 2 lines.. my router maybe for tenants..

I would like BT sport, but not sure how I can watch it.. if I go to the BT sport website, I can only watch if its activated.. which needs a BT id and password..
am I right in thinking the landlord needs to put this info in, so this machine can see bt sport online?
I don't think there is any BT TV available, I am not 100% on this though.. I only get the BT showcase channel which everyone gets..

does anyone else have BT broadband, and have someone in the house that watches sport with wifi?
any thoughts?
J :)

Do you know if it has BT Sport, I have BT internet but if I want to watch BT Sport I will have to activate it, which is free but I suspect will mean me signing up to another 12 month contract, which I don't want to do.

So you need to talk to the landlord about it.

We have it but otherwise haven't a clue as I don't watch sport.
Actually, TV hasn't been on this year.
We have BTTV too, free box and £7 a month IIRC. For my son to watch motorbikerisating.
Did have to sign a new 18 month contract but that might have been the upgrade to BT infinity.

Sorry, no help at all :(

I thought anyone who had bt Broadband had BT sport online for free, and the next stage were people with BT vision, who get BT sport on the TV?

Steve thanks

I am mostly after MotoGP and the critical North East football problem ...

BT infinity.. I have heard of it but forgotten what is gives..

You will have to ask your landlord and ask him if he could activate bt sport so you will be able to watch this channel.
For normal bt sd is free but hd if you want to watch this on is not free and a subscription is requested, if you are able to watch it on iPad Pro or any other apple computer it's amazing, I hope this helps a little bit for you. [emoji106]

Me neither - as long as I get reasonably quick broadband to watch YouTube I don't take much interest to be honest.
