Re: Picture(s) of the day..
Well the image selection from the gallery came up with this Scottish Garage, and I like an interesting garage. Its in a familiar location to the FCF AA Box Spotter, Alford, Aberdeenshire, the home of the Grampian Transport Museum.

That looks a proper traditional one Neil Wonder if they also do work in the proper traditional way and give good customer service?

More scottish images... not much to do with motoring though!
Sure you all recognise that..
Then this view back to Scapa Flow... I had just ridden up the road in the foreground
And the view foward to Stromness, Northlink ferry just leaving to Scrabster

Re: Picture(s) of the day..
..and very topical...Chris Bonnington was a guest on Simon Mayo's radio 2 show on Tuesday. He talked about his first ascent of the Old Man of Hoy and his ascent to "celebrate" his 80th Birthday. It was one of those "couldn't take your ears off it" for want of a better phrase, moving personal accounts. Both events for Chris sprung out of deep personal sorrow and loss, and his emotional recounting of the loss of his son prior to that first ascent was heartbreaking. His latest book "Ascent...A life spent climbing on the edge" reveals much more of the man as well as his climbing. I'll pop in in the PE Library..out tomorrow 19th October 2017.

Anyone got a picture to get things flowing again?

Can the viewing public anticipate, a little white car (or possibly a pair of little white cars) in a scenic location appearing in POTD later on

Very, very possibly I think a few pictures of Daffodil and her little sister would be just the job!

Excellent, but Jim/Alasdair I was thinking of a background sort of like where the ice cream van is, although I do like a nice garage or two as well
