One of the cutest cars ever made, thats a Renault 4CV

Started out the "A nice 2-tone" thread with one of those, see if you like it in 2-tone :-D

Another AA box for you, about 600 yards from the entrance to the holiday cottage we were in last week. We also saw another one in Yorkshire but sadly didn't photograph it.
This was where we had to go to get to the cottage.

Excellent Peter, Ardgay.

Here's a pic from Davie and Chris' visit to the very spot, last year on their North Coast 500!

I'm sure someone will put it the right way up!

enjoy Scotland Peter, one of my favourite parts of the world. We've never been quite that far, Chanonry Point on the Black Isle is our furthest point so far.

I take it the AA Box at Wythall Transport Museum in Brum has already been spotted by the way. Have pic if not

two-tone Burgundy & Cream not to my taste on that Neil. Loving' the Fiat 500 beneath it tho.

Ironic really, its normally grey that I loathe

Off to google the 4CV, name is familiar to me, just the first time I've seen one

How's this for a picture of the day to kick off me posting on this forum again?

On our BCG bike rides we always take so photos of the event... We always try to make them a bit interessting...

These were from Tuesday when we went to Bromham Mill near Bedford just after we'd refreshed on coffee and cake...

I was photographer so mercifully, I'm not in shot!

We do enjoy ourselves :D

Had a quick look and it is Bearley Cross Roads
Original box number 342
Original telephone Stratford 2318
Original Location Birmingham - Stratford A.34 / Warwick - Little Alne (Unclass)

Our cycling destination yesterday afternoon was Woburn - of wildlife park fame - and we stopped by its rather wonderful church...

It has some amazing gargoyles on the tower... Zoom in and take a look - especially those at the very top...

There must be a story about them but I've not yet found it...

Saw a few steam lorries at the Yeovil show, not one of those though, looks quite modern. doesn't look like a Foden, I read they will do 40 mph +, sooner them than me.

Nice to see a bit of history on a car......like the original sales invoice from 1962 for the Ford Consul Classic seen on Sunday at the Tanfield Railway. D Graham esq. got PVC Upholstery and a heater in his new car, and £200 off for his trade-in!

Love things like that :D Shows how relatively expensive cars (and road tax) were in those days...

Not car related I know, this was an estimate and the final bill for connecting us to mains drainage just before we moved down here.
