Second Unusual Japanese spot on the FCF in the last couple of days, Van stuck up a Nissan Cimo Y33 on the whatsthisthen? thread just yesterday.

When I went to book an MoT one of these was in the yard (along with a French XJ40) behind the family run back street garage in Paignton:-

If you mean the rear lights, yes but if it WAS a convertible I'm sure it had a hardtop, making it look much like the earlier cabrio.

At some point on the A303 driving home for Christmas this (alright, last) evening, I spotted up ahead pair of rear lights quite close together & equally lowdown, the reflection off a No: plate & low dark shadow. When I got closer it turned out to be a dark coloured Morgan; must've been an old one, with the lights either side of the plate, so quite unexpected on a December night!

Today's sighting, again peculiar because of time & place: coming down the Dartmout Road into Paignton, around lunchtime - a '57 Pontiac!

Followed a nicely presented rubber bumper Midget down Hyde Road, Paignton yesterday - makes a change from the usual "B's"

The rubber bumpers were because because no one at BL thought to actually read the US regs, because if they had they would've known that Spridgets were exempt as they were too light AND, if they'd followed Reliant's example &, made the B's spare wheel a (no cost) option they needn't have ruined that as it was THAT close to the minimum weight to which the 5 mph bumper requirement applied.

Heading south on the M3, near to Farnborough, I spotted a Jensen Interceptor (GGF 20J).
