I've always wanted to drive a Daf... Never have but one day perhaps... The old Variomatic is a lot better than some give it credit for...

Which model of Daf is it van?

And how much is it being offered for?

You got a nice little colour co-ordinated radio for a start :-D

Yes and my classic spot for today, one of the natives around here I think, a red e-type Jaguar roadster. Lovely day in the wilds of Northumberland today perfect for a spin in an e-type roadster..if you avoid the potholes of course. Even spotted some folks eating their lunch alfresco today. Had to smile slightly though, as indispensable as the crockery and cutlery laid out on the table, to the right of his knife....his I-phone of course!

Thought you might :-D Stylish and fitting with the time.

I don't notice these things too much, but in general are original fitted car radios etc usually logo-ed up with the car maker/model?

looks like the Ford KA may be!

I think it's usually the manufacturer's name, in fact all the Jeep stuff purports to be made by Chrysler (or did).

As for the Daf, it's one of the later ones (black plastic grille) but that's all I could take in but, weather & traffic permitting, I will stop & have a looksee.

Not like mine! Mine's got a rather nifty after-market job in it that plays USB sticks :)

Always thought they were gross - especially for an Italian.

Now, here's a teaser: which Italian coachbuilder did a styling exercise on the Mk2 Zodiac? (couldn't have been for the Italian market, surely!)

Well looks like it may have been
Inspired by a proposal from the Italian design house Fura, Roy Brown produced a dashing saloon, one that spoke of an affluent future where everyone would own a car with a strip speedometer and canted tail fins.
In looking for the answer to Van's poser I came across this as an aside.

The Somerset Constabulary liked their Z-Cars in "Goodwood Green"

Complete with an authentic Somerset registration too :D

Our local constable had a Moggie Minor patrol car when I was a kid - nothing as posh as a Zephyr 6...

Following on from the odd-balls of Somerset Police having their Zephyrs in Goodwood Green, the Plymouth City Police were distinctive in their black and white zephyrs with a roof box sign.

Keep watching this after the footsoldiers have passed by and you will see what I mean.

The film is from 1967 possibly just before the Plymouth force joined the Devon Constabulary

The County of Lancashire Constabulary went all high-viz with their traffic vehicles patrolling the new fangled motorways.
