Serendipity

Post by addo »

Called out to a Pug that wouldn't go after the battery went flat. BSI had lost the plot. Reconfigured, key relearned, said to the customer "It should go now" - and it did!!! 40 minutes all in; I absolutely loved how it started first time just when I predicted.

Seems that so often there's one sneaky parameter you overlook, or the car has dropped into economy mode too fast, or something, and your shining prediction falls flat...

I wonder if a C1 has a BSI?

Not even found its diagnostic socket yet?

I did! Still took me a moment or six... All I initially saw was the steering rake adjustment but then I felt the socket rather than seeing it :-D

I must pop the Lexia onto it and see if it talks to it...
