Will this work on a Clio Mk2 Ph 2 that has a plastic case with a replaceable paper element inside?
I intend to do this one & a Clio Mk2 Ph 1 that has a canister at half term.

No, not for the paper element plastic case filter types :(

If it's same kind of plastic case as in Xsara, C5 then you can use hex socket (was it 24 mm or 27 mm).

According to the YouTube video I have just watched Clio has a different kind of plastic case oil filter as in C5.
In the video oil filter change starts at 5:58 and you can see the tool used there:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and also the tool I have shown above pic. would work fine in this case :) .

That's interesting, I didn't think of looking on youtube!
The last time I did it I got it off with an old bike toe strap!
