Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Having been going through my photos from Goodwood, here's a French one.
Another car that I think actually looks better in film than high-definition digital...
I had an absolute nightmare of a time trying to get far enough away from the car to take that photo!

How Many left as of Q1 2017 gives these results for Renault 21 overall

Saw one of these at Burnmouth just over the Scottish Border

The 21 had a bit of a resurgence in the early/mid 00's, always liked the look of them, the turbo could handle quite a bit of power too!

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
The 21 always got a vote from me - main thing it had over my 11 I though was orange text on the dash...for some reason that silly sort of detail did (and still does) appeal to me.
Today saw no less than two C6's. One heading out of town towards Newport Pagnell, and another one parking up in the X-Scape just as we were leaving.

Spotted today whilst out on a bike ride:
In Turvey, Beds:
Very tidy and a daily driver. It pulled out and away shortly after I'm photographed it...
A bit further up the road in a place called Carlton:
Owned by a member of 2CVGB and clearly an enthusiast...

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
The Renault 21 was there again today.
Spot of the day for me though was a Renault Master based motorhome heading along Portway, pretty sure it was on a P plate, so quite a late one. They really were distinctive looking vans. Lot of glass area compared to the likes of a Transit, good for a conversion like that.
Never driven one...would like to fix that one day. Likewise an 80s-90s Transit. Dad's one from work was such an icon of my childhood that I'd really like a shot of one!

Spotted this Pug 404 Decap in a classic car hire garage in Beaulieu today...
You can hire it for a day, wee or weekend - at a price...
Sorry for the poor quality - it was taken through the showroom window...
Lots of lovely cars there...
See them all and then some in my Flickr Album of Interesting Cars:

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Two yesterday (photos later if I remember!), firstly was a pretty late (P plate I think) AX in a fetching metallic blue colour over by B&Q (needed a 10mm compression fitting elbow and Toolstation had run out!), and later in the day spotted an E-plate Talbot Express camper over by Tesco. Pretty tidy but with a bit of patina and obviously in regular use.
Today went the opposite way past a Pug 309 (looked to be a GTi or similar from the body kit) as I was turning into Bradwell Common. Not a car I've seen before, and a 309 is something I'd be pretty sure to notice! Didn't get a photo of that because I was driving.
EDIT: Photos added below!
This was spotted a couple of days later over in Buckingham, still looked to be in everyday use.

Re: Spotted Xantias! (and other French stuff)
Spotted this silver GSA on the way to work this morning.
It passed right by me when I was parked which would have given a much better shot including number plate but annoyingly, my Dashcam had crashed/frozen (I think the SD card is on the way out) but I caught up to it again later in traffic.
I'm pretty sure this is the first GS/GSA I've ever seen in the UK for the 8 years I've been here...

I spotted (in the Clayton area of Sussex) a Peugeot 504 pickup, and then, later on, a CX estate on a trailer heading up the M23 towards London.
