vin numbers for the VIC CHECK

I had a look to day at the chassis numbers the seem to all check ok.
But my engine number is faded.
Could this be a problerm for the Vhiecle Identerty check

Nope, they dont get that involved, they just check to make sure glass etchings match (ish) and that the vin plate isnt writen in crayon or looks to have been dsturbed or tampered with in some way, its not a thorough check and i dont think anyone would be daft enough to ring a Xantia so dont worry.

my bad luck with cars latley Knowing my luck somthing stupid would happern.
I think ts fair to say my xantia is the most solid french car i have had. The body is superb the engine starts everytime first time. And the interier seems well put togeather.
Evern though the manual windmirrors dont work and the locks a bit dogy. But thats bout it. Theres no electrics on it to go wrong. Just the radio and the remote controls for the streeing wheel thats it

Im sure it was the engine one i was looking at. Its near the center comming from the intercooler fan pipes
