Shame isn't it. They'd sell more if they didn't depreciate like a stone, I can't believe just how much they depreciate!

I'm honestly very surprised it lasted so long, no room for such a special car in today's sea of Merivas and Pixos :x

I find this enthusiasm of waiting for such cars to be cheap, a little off putting.

It's like waiting for for a famous actress or model to become a boozy old slag so you can take her home from the local for a night, and then brag about how you knocked boots with whoever-it-may-be.

I'm waiting in line for some more C6 depreciation as well Adam!

I'm looking forward to getting one. I have got the bug, they are a lovely car to drive, and will hopefully be a nice XM replacement for me.

Well, it is and it isn't. C6s do nothing for me to be honest, I've seen a couple in the flesh and sat in one at the dealer, but never driven one. I can see some might like them, but seriously, only a madman would buy a £35k car that's going to be worth 1/6th of that in 6 years time - and six years, unless it's been seriously abused, isn't really going to make much difference to the general condition.

C6s are at home on the motorway as they literally just eat the miles - a 3 hour journey is akin to popping to the shops at the end of the road and back. Comfortable, fast and overall I love ours. :-D

It's been discussed on here before about their prices, however I don't think they'll go too low. Most hover around the 9/10K mark however there are some that are below this but these are lesser spec'd Lignages, very high mileage examples and some are the 2.2 HDi's as well...

I drove Keith's 2.2 HDI Auto C6 at the CX Rally last year. It was excellent. I think I drove his V6 C6 the year before!

Autotrader shows me 18 for sale nationally, 10 of which are below £10k, two of which are 2007/8 Exclusives with less than 50k on the clock. One Exclusive is only £7500 and has 28k on, but it is a Cat D. The issue now is that they are getting into the territory where failures are going to cost so much to get fixed, that they're just going to be sold off dirt cheap with faults. One issue is that the Citroen fans/forums/Jims of this world haven't got their hands on them properly - as far as I'm aware - so it's dealer or no-one to fix them.

Thats very true Mike, but the same thing will happen with these cars. Its only a matter or time until more C6s pass into the home mechanics hands. There is already a C6 owners forum.

These cars share a lot of common parts with the C5 and 407. Plus the engines are available in Jaguars and Land Rovers. So a bit of forum hopping would have most bases covered.
