thats because the car that hit the biker sideswiped the bike rather than head on,

after the bike was hit it continued still on its wheels in and ark and aimed its self in a straight line at my door,

i think as DickieG said the bike had a head of steam up this is why it went so far after being hit,

update
the Costcutters store at the junction were this occurred has CCTV footage of it happening,
they are sending my insurance company a copy

Hope you & wife recover quickly (Trip to the Conquest takes some recovering from!). Shame about the BX.
Sounds like the motorcyclist may take a bit longer.

'Ere Malc, in your photo sketch of the accident, that motorcyclist do look a bit stick thin! :shock: Needs fattening up on bacon sandwiches and/or sticky buns, by the looks of it. Either that or he's an alien landed on Erf, as you've a few of them in St. Leonards, eh.
