Bottle Jack Seal Material

Post by addo »

One for our mate HDI again, possibly.

Just quickly, thinking about making an LHS sphere tester... Do the hydraulic oil seals in a modern (new) bottle jack offer compatibility with DOT4?

Thanks, Adam.

LHS is compatible with LHM (whatever Citroen pretend!), so whatever you use for LHM spheres will be OK with LHS. For instance the front strut return hoses on the C5 are the same as the BX ones

You may be confusing LHS and LDS, possibly?
