The V6 is dead...long live the V6!

Post by Toby_HDi »

Just spotted this...

http://www.lavoixdunord.fr/Locales/Lens ... dieu.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It started as the PRV then became the ES9. Now, it has reached the end of the line.

Death of the V6 seriously makes me depressed.

End of an era. We should all hold a wake for our dearly departed V6... A sad day. Character lost forever...

Well said. I feel a sudden urge to buy up all the V6s I've ever wanted and hide them away.

Not if you get an HDi... There's no hardship with one of those, except how bloody cool they run...

But yes, enjoy a V6 whilst you can. I guess soon enough they'll be banned for their perceived poor green credentials. Already in some parts of society a V6 is about as socially acceptable as walking naked around Tesco...

I haven't experienced this yet. But I'm sick to the teeth of "why would you keep putting petrol into that when my Qashqai dCi does 60 MPG?". I can think of far too many reasons to list....

One good reason: Why have a Quashgay when you can have a Xantia HDi that does a genuine real world 55mpg. I bet the Quashgay cannot achieve 60mpg in the real world...
