That was the argument you used, it's the developer's fault for not patenting their application, lets see, you refered to them as "idiots who didn't patent their idea before submitting them to Apple"DickieG wrote:Xac, you're a petty childish foolXac wrote:Not just steal it and say it was the shop's stupid fault for not securing it then?
Microsoft participate in philanthropic activities, seperate to the Gates Foundation, such as the donation of equipment to schools in the US, and it encourages activites by staff members and backs them.
Apple hasn't done anything like that since the 90's despite having bulging pockets of cash.
That is not spin, it's fact.
Microsoft has been accused of stealing from Apple, yet was found not guilty in court, has been accused of stealing MS DOS, yet actually bought it along with various other applications which it's been accused of stealing.
It was guilty of making it hard for the competition to write fully compatible operating systems for Microsoft applications, incorporating IE into Windows so users wouldn't bother to look elsewhere for other browsers.
Now if you're going to find those actions objectionable, surely you'd find any company acting in the same manner also objectionable? Such as Apple, who restricted their OS to their hardware and restricted what programs could be written for it, who shipped their browser with their OS so users wouldn't need to bother to look elsewhere for other browsers.
With regards to burglary, it covers more than robbery hence why I was specific with my the term I used.

Addo,
Thanks for the alternate discussion. Iphones, Htc, Samsung, Nokia and any other phone could NEVER look as good as that lot,
I chose an Iphone over all the rest. I am happy with it, which is of only interest to me. Anyone can have what they want-, up to them.
It will bite if cornered.
Greg
